About Us
Rally for Change is a youth-led nonprofit initiative that believes every child deserves the opportunity to learn, grow, and thrive through sports.
Founded by a group of passionate student volunteers, our mission is to provide free tennis instruction and mentorship to children who may not otherwise have access to the game. We believe tennis teaches far more than athletic skills—it builds confidence, discipline, resilience, teamwork, and leadership.
Through volunteer coaches, community partnerships, and the generosity of supporters, we create a welcoming environment where every child can learn, make friends, and discover their potential regardless of their financial circumstances.
At Rally for Change, every rally is more than a tennis exchange—it’s an opportunity to inspire confidence, build character, and create lasting change in our community.

Nicolette Yeremyan
My name is Nicolette Yeremyan and I’ve currently been playing tennis for 8 years. Going into tennis, it felt like an obligation since my parents valued playing sports, however, what started as routine grew into passion. I began to improve very quickly and realized I had potential in the sport. Now, as a high schooler, many students are pressured to create a non profit for college. However, I thought of it as an opportunity to collaborate with younger ones and teach them the joys of tennis. Being able to provide guidance to journeys truly is an amazing opportunity. So, join Rally for Change and let us help you grow together.

Krish Wadhwani
My name is Krish Wadhwani and I got into tennis at a very young age. My parents tried to get me into a couple different sports when I was younger, but tennis was the only one I truly enjoyed. I quickly started to love the sport and wanted to return to the courts and play every day. When I became a freshman, my passion for tennis grew so strong that I was playing up to 20 hours a week. Although I’ve had to take several
breaks from tennis and never got very good, my love for the sport is still strong. Recently I was presented with the opportunity to work together with some friends in an organization with the goal of spreading tennis to the youth in our communities, especially those who are underprivileged. I see this as a great chance for me to grow as a player, a friend, and a coach. Please join Rally for Change so that together we can continue to spread our passion for tennis and create an impact.

Jacob Shing
Hi my name is Jacob Shing and I have been playing tennis seriously for about 4 years now. When I was younger I focused more on Basketball rather than tennis but I would still take the occasional tennis lessons from time to time. Eventually when 8th grade came around I realized that I would need to focus on a sport for high school and making the basketball team seemed unrealistic for the height I was at. This was when I ultimately decided to focus on tennis so I could make the high school team. As I played the sport more and more, I began to fall even deeper in love with the game which made me start to regret not starting earlier in my life. As of now though I was able to start a non profit organization with my peers to help younger kids to fall in love with the sport that I pushed aside for so long. I want the youth that we teach to take advantage of their age to become even better at tennis when they grow older.
